Paranormal Activity 3 review

  Paranormal activity was not that great. Well we are talking about a horror film. Paranormal Activity 1 (2007) was good it reminded me of Blair Witch Project(1999). Paranormal Activity 2 sucked it was scarierer but still acting sucked story sucked effects was basically strings, but yet another rebut paranormal activity 3 was scary but did not float my bout. The critics say the last 20 min will change your life no it wont in less you are talking about the acting. You will never believe me but it set up for another after 3 and before 1, This is more confusing then the last 3 star wars despite all of the flaws the numbers are great paranormal activity 3 cost $5M to make opening weekend did $54M amazing. It beet Three Musketeers opening weekend Three Musketeers did $8.8M. The best actor was Dennis (Christoper Nicholas none for little children.) Then Lauren Bittner as Lauren through out this film seemed like she was not giving full effort with acting. She has even played in Kate Hudson's Bride Wars even with all the money. Horror films just need to learn to learn not to over do the movie series.
Paranormal Activity 3 gets a 2 out of 10.

Review: The Thing

Movie: The Thing

The Thing was a OK movie. The acting was very bad. The story was relay good. I was surprised because the story is normally the worsted in horror movies. Well besides acting. But the film had OK special effects. I love the snowy effects in this film. I think that they should shoot a found footage the Thing. (Found Footage means a movie claiming to be real footage most of the time not). I just think it would be cool to see a found footage monster/zombie film. The thing fallows a girl who does not know what she is going to go experiment on. All she knows is some Russian team needs her help. So when she gets there guess what something breaks out. This film was OK not as good as 50/50 so i give the thing a 5 out of 10 stars.

50/50 Review

50/50 is following a guy named  Adam (Joseph Gordon-Levitt). Who he soon finds out he has cancer. With a girl friend who loves him but, she is always gone. Kyle (Seth Rogan) is his best friend. Who uses Adam to get laid. He also has parents, his mom is way to over protective of him and his dad has ahltimers and does not know who he is. 50/50 is great you will pro dict the ending, but this film has great acting. I love how this film can have such a sad plot but yet make it so funny. This film is great for a date night.
So far in the box office this film is doing great opening weekend did $8.64M world wide did $24.3M.
Camera work was normal for a high budget film. I was very impressed with this film. You will rely want to see this film i give it an 8 out 10.

Movie: The Cave
This film was OK. I love the camera work, but everything else was horrible.  The script was bad, The acting was bad, and the special effects was the worst. The story was very predictable you know who's going to live who's going to die. I feel bad for this film. In the box office it did not pass its budget opening weekend did $6.15M its gross was $14.9M.

Chain Letter Review

Movie: Chain Letter
Chain letter is messed up. This film is not well none in less you are a user Redbox or Netflix. A few weeks after released it was being showed on SyFy. The movies budget was $5M and opening weekend $143K and world wide made $143k. I think this was a strait to dvd but i am not positive .This is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Not much to say,besides acting, is horrible, story is horrible and the script is the worse. The filmography was ok. Director (Deon Taylor) was good it seemed like. Over all this movie sucked. Not be mean to the people who tried so hard to make this film and getting it funnded.
I give this film a 2 out 10.

Fast Five review

Movie: Fast Five
Fast 5 is very good. The trailer made it look fake, but I new it was going to be good. The Fast and Furious 1 which is the first installment of the series.It was great i gave a 8 out of 10 stars. 2 was ok and I gave it a 6 out 10 stars. 3 was horrible just stupid I gave it a 3 out of 10 stars, but Universal Pictures learned from their mistakes and made fast and the furious 4. They brought back Van diesel as Dominic Toretto and Jordana Brewster as Mia Toretto. The original cast (from the first Installment to the series) coming back into the movie just topped it off. Then fast 5 possibly the best in the series. Instead of just racing it's following all of the original cast, including new faces. The crew is trying to bring down Hernan Reyes a notorious drug lord. Who ripped them off. There are still lots and lots of awesome cars used in this film still. one seen when the crew gets ambushed in slow motion is my favorite seen. The way they shot the slow motion was amazing. Paul Walker was very good acting wise in this movie. Fast 5 was a hit in the box office opening weekend it did $86.2M and world wide did $616M. I highly recommend this movie to any of the old fans. If any one who did not like the original Fast and Furious. You should give this one a chance. 
Fast 5 gets a 8 out of 10.

Scream 4 Review

Movie: Scream 4
Ten years have passed, and Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), who has put herself back together thanks in part to her writing, is visited by the Ghostface Killer. Scream 4 is good for the fourth film. Through this movie you think that the killer would be another random person who has never been in any of the films before. Scream is one of the best horror movies ever, but scream 4 is not what you expect. Killings are better, more humor, lots and lots of hot girls. like always Scream 4 had major twists. Scream 4 still is very good i can watch it over and over again. Story was very good. scream is not as scary any more. I expected this film to do better it still did well in box office its budget was $40M opening $18.7M  gross world wide $73.3M.
I give scream 4 a 7 out of 10.

Jumper review

Movie: Jumper
Jumper is a great movie...... When I say great I mean great. Every thing meets what i expected. I was suprised that they used Hayden Chistensen for the main role as David Rice. Mainly because he had played in 17 films and only 4 got passed there budget. The movies that got passed there budgets were Jumper, Awake, Star wars 2, and 3.  Hayden was great in this film. He was very good at acting, but yet some movies could have been the directors fault. I dont think it was because 4 out of 17 movies that did well. Numbers are against Hayden, But jumper did amazing it did not pass its budget by a few million it doubled its budget. Its budget was estimated at $85M opening weekend did $32.1M world wide did $222M. Jumper follows a guy named David Rice, but at the beganing you think its just another teen flick. but it all twists years later he is 29 and living great. rich, and has the girls. when he comes home. he soon finds out there are people who kill jumpers.
I love this movie and give it a 9 out of 10 lots of people  disagree but i liked it.

contagion review

 Movie: Contagion
This movie was okay it was very depressing. I was expecting a zombie like movie. It is not. This film is following Beth (Gwyneth Paltrow) she is a scientist working to find a cure, for this sickness. also Mitch's (Matt Damon) wife had been killed by this sickness so he is trying to protect his daughter. While she thinks its fine and sneeks out with her boy friend. Mitch soon finds out he can not get this contagious disease. Beth is trying to use Mitch to heal the world. This movie was good because it just shows how a disease can start wars, deaths, and disappearance of countries. This movie is slow paced. But all and all this movie was okay i give this movie a 7 out 10 stars

Drive Review

Movie: drive
Drive is well...... Drive. Nothing that you expect from the trailer. You think ahhhhhhhhh another pointless action, But this is the completely different it is shot very intersesting. shot like a peace of art. The acting is great. Ryan Gosling chalenges him self on roles like this one. He plays as a stunt Driver but part time Driver (to help some one get away from cops) he moves into a apartment next door to a single mom (Carey Mulligan)she dose not know he is a driver until her husband gets released from jail (Oscar Isaac) he offers Driver a job. While doing the job Oscar gets shot leaving the store. As they were leaving from there. Driver is trying to help Carey get away  from the people who killed her husband. This movie is very gory and bloody. In a cheesy way. Drive did not put much effort to the script. there was lots of silent parts. It could just be the style of shooting.
but over all drive gets a 8 out of 10

Fright Night Review

Movie: Fright Night
Fright Night (2011) was better than the original (1985 Fright Night). Colin Ferrell Was great in this film as Jerry the main Vampire. From the trailer you think its just another teenage horror with bad acting bad story and very cheesy effects but its none of those it has great acting Anton Yelchin (Star Trek) plays as Charley a teen who has it to good. With a hot girl friend and hanging out with the popular kids. Every thing was good until a past friend named Ed (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) comes into his life everyone warns Charley about Ed. (they don`t know he used to be friends with Ed)  through the starting of this film Ed is paranoid you don't know why but then he looks back and is chased through house by house by a man  (Colin  Ferrell). You will be surprised. it brings classic Vampire back unlike Twilight. Such as vampire has to be invited in and a classic wooden stake through the heart to kill Jerry or he can not be seen in photos or reflections. The movie has lots of action. The ending is unpredictable because when you think you know the ending it just turns.
Fright Night gets a 7 out of 10 stars.

Abduction review

Movie: Abduction
Abduction sounds good until you see the main actor Taylor Lautner, His only Major Films are Sharkboy lavagirl and Twilight series. When/if you see this movie you will think of better actors to act as Taylor's role . I was thinking threw the hole movie why is a werewolf in this movie. They might of been targeting adults with story and little girls with the actor. The movie did not have a great story line at all no surprise at all. 20 minutes into the movie you know the ending. It is Trying to be like the  Borne Identity. but its not.It starts out like a horror film teenagers parting 2 guys get in a fight over nothing. when a the guy who started the fight has a girl with him and the way she looks at Taylor you can tell they will fall in love. special effects were great. Camera work was annoying.
i give this Movie a 3 out of 10 stars.
